PROFILE

I was born in Shizuoka, Japan. I moved to Berlin in 2000 to study German and contemporary German art. Since then I have been working to promote contemporary Japanese art and culture in Germany.

From July 2000 to August 2005 I worked in a gallery in Berlin where many young Japanese artists exhibited their work. During this time I was also involved in the organization of exhibitions and projects concerning Japan. From November 2005 to October 2006 I worked as a curatorial assistant for the “Berlin-Tokyo/Tokyo-Berlin” exhibition at the New National Gallery. And then I became a freelance agent and coordinator for japanese art. For more information please look under NEWS or please send me your email. Greetings from Berlin!
